I was really excited just the night before our interview. I was so excited that I can't even sleep at all haha!
Now, the day of our trip. Our meetup place is in our school at exactly 7:30 am but just like the Filipino time, the allotted time was not followed, but we still managed to get off he school early. As we wait for a bus to ride, we talk about waiting at Turbina or just stay there and wait for a nice bus that is not packed and full of people with it. Unfortunately we decided top just take a "STANDING OVATION" bus ride than in an ordinary bus that also a standing ovation one.
After the bus ride, we took off in Robinson's (not sure what's the place though) and there we patiently waited for the mall to open so we can buy Krispy Kreme (a token of appreciation for the interviewee).
While waiting we had a little fun conversations and took a little bit of selfie photos
Then after buying the token of appreciation we now wait for a taxi. Eventually a taxi cam and we asked if he knows where is the said place. He said that he knows where it is and said that he'll take us there. Without hesitation we hop in the taxi car. After taking off the taxi car he told us that the he took us to the right place then we asked for person's to help us locate the company bldg. Asking the tricycle driver we were told that the place where we are is not Mandaluyong but Pasig. We called the modus of that taxi driver as "Na Pasig dre?" haha! That's not all! The taxi driver offered us a ride for just 8 or 10php per person compare to the taxi ride that we paid for about to 60-70php something.
After taking off the trike we now walked to find the building which is just nearby the place where we took off the trike. Ta-da! another selfie with my co group mate Loraine :3
Now after waiting, Mr. Rene Accompanied us to the room where we will do the interview. Upon setting up I saw this and took a picture of it :D
After setting up the interview has began! The interviewers were Yvane and Mimay while the ones that are assigned for the coverage were Robert, Loraine and I. I was also the one that guide Robert and Loraine for the coverage.
Atlaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast!!!! we're finally here!!!!!!!! >:D
as soon as I saw the company name my heart beats faster and faster! I'm getting excited and excited!
After entering the company we logged first and took a seat while waiting for Mr. Rene.
And of course another selfie!!!!
He is a very straight forward person
with a solid heart of being a boss, a true leader and a true professional
worker. Mr. Rene also made us a little tour in the company and upon seeing the artists it gave me more confidence and more determination to keep improving! :D After the interview he showed us the rooms/sections/departments where
an animation project is being processed, it made my eyes glow, made my heart
beats even more faster than before and most of all it gave me an inspiration as
an artist/multimedia practitioner.
As we head back to school I felt very
satisfied yet I want to have a little more coversation with him.
And of course we had a picture with him! :D
Of course that's not it! before leaving the company, we thanked Mr. Rene and the guards! :D we also had another picture with the Toon city Logo :D
Thank you Mr. Guard for the last photo! :D
On our way home, at the bus we happily talked about our experiences in this trip.
as I watched the movie I fell asleep because I'm so tired! haha!
I could say that from interviewing Mr.
Rene Deguzman, the Production Manager of Toon city, it went very well and
great! I learned lots of things about animation in this trip, Of course it's
not just about animation, but the uses of animation in business marketing and
advertising industry. I learned how the post processing works, how they deal
with the clients, the payment and etc etc etc. This is a whole new experience
for me as an MMA practitioner, this trip just gave me lots of ideas on how to
work with business marketing and advertising using the technology of
multimedia. It inspired me to work hard so I can gain more in the future. This
is a very unforgettable experience as a future Multimedia Arts practitioner. :D
